Noting that Mr. Newby agreed to print 350 copies of Wuthering Heights but "afterwards declared he had only printed 250"; speculating that Mr. Newby "must be needy as well as tricky--and if he is, one would not distress him, even for one's rights"; offering to write a preface for Wuthering Heights and Agnes Grey that will "set at rest all erroneous conjectures respecting [her sisters'] identity."
